Wyatt has surgery

Now before you get mad at my Mom for having all of this done at one time, she did not know it was going to happen.  And because I was told that it is very hard for me to be under anesthesia it was for the best...

After a long long time of thinking Mom and dad decided that I needed to have my nares opened up..My Veterinarian agreed and sent us to a specialist.  He explained ALL kinds of scary things to us and at that time we had NO idea what was about to happen during surgery.  Mom was going to have me neutered at the same time because even though I am OH so beautiful I have a spinal condition that would not be best to pass on and MAN oh MAN do I love the girls!

Well, surgery day came and Mom was so nervous I could tell right away.
She dropped me off and gave me a big kiss - I was unsure but went with this really nice Vet tech lady that I had met earlier in the week.  She gave me LOADS of loving so I just about forgot about Mom and Doc, Dont tell them though!

During my surgery Mom  Dr Parchman called Mom after he examined my throat region and explained that I would need more surgery. SO, there you go..ALL that stuff in one day..Be sure to see this link on all the procedures I had.  It is very informative and really explains the need for this type of surgery so very often in bullys like myself.
While I was at the Hospital during surgery, Mom said Doc was really sad and kept looking for me..So she took him visiting with his Santa hat on.  He had a nice visit with lots of people at the local Toyota Dealership!!

The REALLY bad part - Because my surgery was much more extensive than anticipated I had to stay the night at the hospital.  I was so scared but they all are so nice and I was not left alone, not once!  This was the first time in my entire life (18 1/2 Months) that I have been away from my brother Doc.  I’m pretty sure it was harder on him!

When MOM picked me up the next day I was SOOO happy and Doc was too!..I had not felt good that night at the Emergency Vet clinic and had been regurgitating.  My breathing was good though and oxygen levels up.  After I got some food I was fine, I tried to tell them I needed something in my tummy.  For GOSH sakes I had not eaten since the night before surgery!.  Now I have to take several meds to help me heal and keep me from pain..Its all good though because Mom gives it to me in cheese.  Doc LOVES it because he gets cheese too!
Oh I should add that Mom got me some really yummy food recommended by a friend of ours and I LOVE it!  Its Merrick canned food and WOW is it delicious!  I eat a Raw diet usually and Mom was worried about bacteria so she has me on Canned till I heal.

No I have not even mentioned my neuter, but to tell you the truth Dr Parchman left a little sack so I still look like a boy!  This is a really good thing because people are always saying when they see Doc and I “oh you have a girl and a boy”..I dont mind being the pretty guy, but Come on, cant you see I’m a stud!

My breathing is sooooo much better, Mom said she can even tell the difference already.
Heres a video clip of me and Doc before and after my surgery for you to enjoy
