I love photography. It is everything that life is. It is in it’s nature to always attempt to capture beauty. Even if the photographs you are viewing are those of suffering and death. There is so often a beautiful way there. And photography captures it in real time. Something no other art form can claim.

 

When I was roughly seven, I was posed with the question for the first time, ‘What would be my first three choices if I could be anything in life?’. That’s a question I believe some people have the answer to very specifically early on. ‘I always knew I was going to be a...’,  I would hear. But as for me, although I always respected that idea, I didn’t necessarily know what that meant for me. That is, until someone asked. Instinctually, I thought...pastor, pro football player, and photographer. In some respects, I’ve made an attempt at all three. But in the end, I found photography. And all it’s true beauty. Everything that life is supposed to be.
