Donna-Marie felt an inspiration to get at least one copy of her book “Mother Teresa and Me: Ten Years of Friendship” into every prison in the country and then shortly afterward she received a request for a copy of her book from someone who wanted to get it for an inmate. The inmate wrote a letter to Donna-Marie from prison after reading her book to express his thanks for what she had written.

Later on, another inmate from another prison wrote Donna-Marie a long letter after seeing her on her EWTN television series “Everyday Blessings for Catholic Moms” and expressed how he was deeply changed after seeing her segments. He now wants to learn more about Catholicism and also wants to read her books.

Many have told Donna-Marie that they felt tremendous peace when reading this book and that it helped them tremendously. Donna-Marie said, “I give all credit to God. Please help me to get this book into the hands of those who need it!”

Therefore, Donna-Marie started this prison ministry by donating fifty of her books to begin with.  She is hoping that donations will come in to take care of postage and handling, as well as to help purchase additional books and religious items (Rosaries and blessed medals) to be sent to the prisons. Please join Donna-Marie in prayer for all inmates that they will turn to God and help for the inmates who are incarcerated because of an error in the justice system or somewhere along the way.
