In 2009 Team Seattle raced the 24 hours of Le Mans. Some of us team members braved the flight and crossed the Atlantic to join Team Seattle in this world famous 77th race on the Circuit de la Sarthe. Team drivers Don Kitch Jr. Patrick Dempsey (Grey’s Anatomy TV star) and Joe Foster. What you see here in the next few pages are the photos I captured of my trip  with Andy Collins and Dick Henderson from Armadillo Racing to this race. We spent the first two days in Paris site seeing the Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, Louve, Champs Elysses and Arc de Triomphe. Then it was off by train to Caen picking up a rental car to Le Mans for four days of racing staying in a 12th Century Chateau. Once this was over we headed to Normandy to take in the WWII D-Day Invasion Memorial and visit the various sites impacted by this historic event.
