This is my maiden voyage into the realm of web-sites. Things change. I am sure, over time, so will my website.  Just as the quote above from Bill Gates reminds us, everything looks different with the passage of time.

I found the second quote a number of years ago while helping launch an Economic Value Added (EVA) reporting system. The system can be difficult to meaningfully integrate into work activities. That can be the case with many financial management systems. Sometimes employees find themselves  “managing the new system” rather than managing the business. I like Shaykin’s quote because it reminds me, on a very simple and primal level, that in the end we are managing sophisticated lemonade stands. We start with some money in our cigar box and hope to have more than we started with by day’s end.

The site consist of three parts. The first section is a listing of the services provided by Pretium Bay Consulting. Just click on “Services” above and you will see the list. The second section is a blog to address the many important financial matters that matter to each of us. Again just click on “Blog” above to go to the Pretium Bay blog. The final section is the latest copy of my resume.
