In 1996, Ranch Hope continued a ministry which began as Nikos Academy and is located just outside Williamstown, New Jersey in Monroe Township.  Now known as Victory House, this program is home to twelve teenage girls.

Victory House serves girls between the ages of 14 – 17, treatment and care in a family environment to abused, abandoned and neglected. Referrals are taken for children primarily living in the seven (7) counties of Southern New Jersey, allowing for greater family participation and visitation.

While the majority of the children we serve are referred through Child Protective Services (DYFS), Care Management Organizations, or Youth agencies, Ranch Hope does accept private referrals from individuals, families, churches, school districts, etc..

Victory House includes separate therapeutic, recreational and educational space where children are provided with a safe, caring, loving environment to gain confidence and learn the skills necessary to become productive citizens. As with the boys living on the Alloway Campus, the girls are mentored and supervised by highly trained staff members we call “Houseparents” ensure the children’s physical, spiritual, emotional and treatment needs are met. On average, children reside at Victory House between 12 and 18 months.

The houseparents and individual therapist are the heart and soul of Victory House and the children’s success. They are trained and certified annually through an ongoing professional development and evaluation process. This certification ensures the houseparents are providing the best care possible to their “family.”

Each child shares a bedroom with one other child along with bathrooms and large lounge areas.  Victory House also includes a satellite kitchen where residents eat breakfast, lunch and dinner and gain additional training for future self-sufficiency.  During the summer months the girls also enjoy having their own swimming pool.

Upon admission, each resident is assigned a master’s level, licensed therapist that provides individual, group and family therapy.

The goal of Victory House is to provide individualized treatment that will help youth progress as quickly as possible to a less-restrictive level of care and ultimately succeed in a home environment.

Students attend either Strang School, their sending school district, the local public high school or local public vocational school.

Each of the girls follow a full schedule from sunrise to lights out.  While weekdays are primarily for attending school, an Activities department provides a full range of therapeutic recreational activities such as: extracurricular clubs, athletic teams and recreation. 

Extracurricular clubs include: Choir, the ARMY (Actively Reaching Many Youth) Drama Club and 4H. 

Team sports include:  Middle School Basketball and High School Basketball.

Intramural sports include:  Softball and Home Olympics Traveling Team.

A state of the art Student Activity Center is available as well as recreational activities including swimming, horse-back riding,  and art & crafts are also available.

A Chaplain is on staff to coordinate weekly worship opportunities, schedule guest speakers, voluntary bible studies and individual counsel.
