This is my web site for simple fun and enjoyment. Look for more things to come. For now we have albums of our two grandchildren, our vacations, comfort cuisine of Walleye sandwiches, homemade pizzas and breads, a collection of breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches, and the class B camper van we purchased to visit the grandchildren and sample pork tenderloin sandwiches wherever we find them.

Davydd

Two bucks going at it in our back yard.

People have asked. Davydd is not my real name but the name I frequently use online. It is the Anglicized Welsh spelling of David in recognizing my Welsh/English ancestry and the desire to pick an AOL name back in 1989 without having to add numbers after. The Welsh have no “v” in their alphabet. They spell it Dafydd. The “dd” is a hard “th” or just simply a “d”. The English spell it Davydd in recognition of the Welsh. Sharon Kay Penman popularized that spelling in her historical novels about Welsh Princes. The “y” does not necessarily make it Davy D. You can pronounce it David.
