This page provides basic information and a new Photoshop Action (download at end of page) for your review. Please feel free to edit this action as you wish. Use your brower back button or the link at the end of this page to return to the Photoshop page. A Photoshop Action is a kind of “macro” - it automates repetitive tasks. This Action automates the sequence of Photoshop menu choices. This action leaves the adjustments in your hands! Test it and see if it helps you. The step-by-step sequence is: Levels Fade to Luminosity Curves Fade to Luminosity Shadow/Highlight Adjustment Hue/Saturation Adjustment Convert Color Mode to LAB 
(for sharpening) Unsharp Mask Convert Color Mode back to RGB (for output) 1. Download the Action to your Desktop or preferred folder (link provided below 2. To load the action in Photoshop: 3. Start Photoshop 4. Go Window>Actions and make the Actions palette visible 5. In the Actions Palette, click as shown, and go to Load Action: 6. Once you have loaded click on the Play Action button (red arrow) and you will see each dialogue box appear in turn. When you click “OK” the action will go to the next step. If you click “Cancel”, the action will stop. 7. Make your adjustments as usual, and take the rest of the day off!!
