A Little History
My Mother's Fleabag was founded in 1980, which makes us the oldest college improv troupe in the country. The group consists entirely of Boston College undergraduate students.
Fleabag performs in and around Boston, in whole or in part, for fun or as a booked contract. We preform the standard array of improv games, borrowed largely from bootleg copies of The Groundling's handbook, which has been circling in the group since it's inception. Our standard performance site is at B.C.'s O'Connell House, a restored mansion on the college campus. Each semester, we do a show, running two-days, mixing improv, skits, a group opera.
