About ETHS Concert Bands

In the fall, the Concert Band program at Evanston consists of two indoor bands - the Symphonic Band (10-11-12 graders) and the Concert Band (9th Graders). The ETHS Marching Band also runs during the fall.

From Late October through June, there are three bands - The Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Concert Band. In early October, students take blind auditions to participate in these ensembles. The concert bands perform every quarter, presenting a wide variety of musical repertoire.

On trip years (such as out Nashville Trip this 2009-10 school year), students will be combined to prepare concert music for the trip performances. All band students share one common period (6th) for this purpose.
