About ETHS Concert Bands
In the fall, the Concert Band program at Evanston consists of two indoor bands - the Symphonic Band (10-11-12 graders) and the Concert Band (9th Graders). The ETHS Marching Band also runs during the fall.
From Late October through June, there are three bands - The Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Concert Band. In early October, students take blind auditions to participate in these ensembles. The concert bands perform every quarter, presenting a wide variety of musical repertoire.
On trip years (such as our OrlandoTrip this year), students were combined to prepare concert music for the trip performances. All band students share one common period (6th) for this purpose.
