Welcome to ETHS Bands!
A FEW ADVANTAGES TO TAKING BAND IN HIGH SCHOOL
• You get to develop your musicianship to an even higher and more enjoyable level. It’s a great Musical Experience!
• Band is an academic subject and can be taken for regular or honors credit.
• Band meets every day during the school day - not before school.
• BIENNIAL trips to places like Disneyworld, New York, New Orleans, & Toronto. 2010 was a trip to Nashville, TN, and this year we return to Orlando, Florida!
• Lots of social connections – Band is a friendly place in a big school.
• Opportunities to switch to new instruments, including trombone, baritone, tuba, bass clarinet, bassoon, and oboe.

INCOMING 8TH GRADER AUDITIONS
HOW TO AUDITION:
FIRST: VISIT THE CALENDAR BELOW, AND SELECT A GOOD TIME TO COME AND AUDITION. AUDITION DATES BEGIN DECEMBER 8TH AND WILL BE ONGOING UNTIL COMPLETED. IF THE TIMES BELOW FILL UP, PLEASE CONTACT DR. FODOR FOR OTHER TIMES.
SECOND: PLEASE EMAIL DR. FODOR AT: fodord@eths.k12.il.us or CALL 847.424.7853 to CONFIRM your audition TIME CHOICE.
third: be sure to download the audition music IF YOU NEED ANOTHER COPY (from the list on the right of the screen).

Please look an open time from the dates listed on the calendar below, and email Dr. Fodor at fodord@eths.k12.il.us to confirm your choice. He will then add your audition to the calendar.
Auditions take place in A109 (band room) at ETHS.
