David studied photography at the Western Pacific Academy of Photography in Victoria, British Columbia. He also has a degree in Mass Communications and English Literature from York University. Raised in the western wilds of Vancouver Island, he now makes his home in the west end of Toronto with wife Jane and their daughter Clara. In addition to his commercial work, specializing in  architecture, portraits and weddings, David has a growing body of personal work. He is currently working with 19th century photographic processes.
