Today, I read Matt. 27.
I’ve really been struggling lately with the idea of God taking care of me.
I’ve been jobless for 4 months now with nothing in sight.
Matt 27 is the story of the crucifixion.
If God cared enough about me to come down and be crucified, He definitely cares enough about me to take care of my needs.
After the crucifixion, the chapter goes on to say that:
The earth shook, rocks split apart and tombs opened. The bodies of many godly men and women who had died were raised from the dead
God has the power to shake the earth, split rocks, open tombs - I think he can handle getting me a job.
