David Vernon

David is a father of two boys and has been their fulltime carer for some years.  An award-winning writer, he has published Having a Great Birth in Australia (2005) Men at Birth (2006) and With Women (2007)  He writes mostly about birth, parenting, science and history.


He has been involved with childbirth education and parenting since 1999.

Ingrid McKenzie

Ingrid is a mother of two children.  She is a qualified childbirth educator, ABA breastfeeding counsellor, IBCLC Lactation consultant and doula.  Ingrid is committed to working in partnership with women and their partners to help them to experience birth and early parenting with a sense of empowerment and growth.
