We share our Garden with...

Our cat swiped at a Dragon Fly the other day. So my wife collected the poor, apparently dead creature, and place it in a plastic contained and stored it in our greenhouse.
The next morning, I heard a drumming sound. It was the Dragon Fly exercising its wings.
So, we placed him on a bush, out of the way of the cat and he soon warmed up and buzzed-off.

It’s nice to know that other creatures find our garden an interesting place to hang out. And because we use no chemicals to fertilize the plants or to kill weeds and slugs, they in turn are not harmed.
We all benefit from sharing.

Then when I was tidying the bottom of our garden, I moved a few plastic panels and beneath them were four tidy Lizards.
They were very slow and torpid. However, a few moments on my hand and they soon warmed up and then scurried away amongst the pile of bricks, to live amongst the cracks and crannies.
