David Blühdorn is a photographic artist living and working in Tasmania, Australia. His work covers many of the natural and wild areas of the state as well as the built environment, communities and individuals. His ecological interest in aquatic ecosystems means that many lakes and rivers are also represented: including a recent survey of the Murray-Darling and its tributaries in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. David travels internationally on photographic work and images from some of these locations are included.

David is building an extensive body of artwork, created from the experiences of his photography and investigations into the way people perceive and interpret images.

These pages showcase his photographic and creative work and will, at some stage, include a range of products available for purchase. Their main purpose is to offer you the chance to experience some of the inspiration that drives his work. If you’d like to contact David, his details are on the business card to the right.
