“... of whom the world is not worthy...” this fragment from Hebrews 11.38 kept running through my head today as I read the accounts of the Amish response to the Lancaster County, PA tragedy.
Perhaps separation from the world breeds a perspective on life, eternity, death and a posture towards evil that might actually bring healing to the world.
To those most closely touched by this unspeakable horror:
