These are videos I have collected using camcorders I have had since my time in San Jose. Some are recent and some date back to the early 90s. The older ones were taken with a VHS camcorder and converted using a 604 power Mac with an ATI VR128, a video PCI card with NTSC input, and some are DV from a firewire converter or a newer camera.

Windows PCs will probably need Quicktime in order to play these movies. Just click on the link for a free download.

Old promotion flick

With music sample, the music is much higher quality than the video.

Cosumnes Birds

Beautiful birds at a local nature preserve, taken in Fall of 2007.

Peace Vigil  in Sacramento

Brave Americans standing up to a dangerous enemy of freedom and democracy, our own government.

Gee Bee Racer

A beautiful racing airplane from the 1930s. I took this video at an air show in Watsonville, California.

Cousin Billy Bob

My cousin from Indiana, Texas, Arkansas or wherever. I don’t even try to keep up any more. Some times he makes me feel grateful because when I start feeling like some kind of a dummy, I just look at him and realize it could be a lot worse.

My Crazy Movie

This is a collection of nutty video doodles I made while learning to use a new (to me) movie program I got at the beginning of the millennium. It was entirely done with classic Mac systems, except the MP4 conversion. It’s funny.

Cosumnes Birds Summer 07

More footage of birds, no sound yet.

Greetings from Planet Earth!

About my flutes and didgeridoos. These are patterned after ancient instruments that have probably been played as long as human beings have been on this Earth. For me, they awaken a spirit that as a young man I barely knew existed. Awesome, haunting and beautiful, they are a very big contribution to the music I play now.

Turtles!

The Sacramento Tortoise and Turtle Society has an annual meeting where they show turtles and turtle related things to the public. Lots of turtles and people who love them. I don’t know if turtles are normally seen as a shamanic power animal, but for whatever reason, I have always had an affinity with them. Most of these turtles seem to like the attention they are getting.

The Message

If you are spiritual but not very religious, you might like this art collage and the message it tries to deliver. Is it a channeled message?

Some times I think that channeling is a good explanation for how someone as dumb as me can still manage to be highly creative.
