Mowgli’s Christmas Stocking

This is my first mostly successful sock-like object-a Christmas stocking for Mowgli the kitten. I can’t remember for the life of me what the yarn is, but it’s quite heavy, so the resultant stocking is very thick, which is important because I don’t think Santa will skimp on the coal. I mean mice! Lots of mice. Don’t bite me, Mowgli.
He’s developed a new trick-he’s always liked carrying his toys around, and every morning two chicken toys, several mice, and a squeaking pig make their way to my bed. Now he’s extended this to other objects as well. Last night I discovered a bright orange rubber glove from the cleaning basket placed in the exact center of the bed and this morning he’s already brought me two used kleenexes. I tried to be appreciative, but was forced to return them to the bin from whence they came.
