Welcome to my website featuring my artwork. I have been painting large canvases full of creative combinations of bold colors in acrylic for quite some time. Formerly a National Sales Manager and Merchandiser in the Fashion Clothing business, I directed sales and design for major companies like Esprit, Union Bay, Nordstrom’s and Planet Hollywood, I have redirected my creativity to the canvas instead of clothing.
Diagnosed with Parkinson;s Disease five years ago my overall theme is become,.... “life is short”, knowing that with a degenerative disease what I am able to do now I might not be able to do later.
I have learned a great deal from playing golf with my golf buddies, who are all seniors. One is “you cannot take it with you”. “ Live each day like it is your last”, “ don’t put off something you can squeeze into today, so I put as much life into each painting through the use of over saturated colors.
I love to explore all the possible and impossible color combinations not ordinarily used in other art creations. I blend different shades and color tones to add an eclectic nature and subtle nuances to my paintings. This also adds a different depth and perspective which hopefully you will enjoy.
Most are large, ranging from 3x3 ft. to 5x4. Creating a dramatic effect on any room. Use of more than one helps give a room an identity and adds life to room with just blank walls.
