Welcome to my website featuring inspired artwork that I have created over the past 20 years. I have been painting canvases full of bold color combinations in acrylic, ever since calling California my home in 1980. I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease eight years ago and my style reflects the emotions and physicality that it has left me with. Some days I am left with only the ability to brush with staccato brushstrokes and others smoother ones. The Parkinson’s influence in mood and technique is apparent to those familiar with the disease.
Formerly an executive and merchandiser in the fashion industry, I directed sales and design for major companies such as Esprit, Union Bay, Nordstrom’s and Planet Hollywood. As my life has evolved, I have redirected my creativity to the canvas instead of clothing.
My passion evolved from my motto - “ life is short” - so I put as much into every painting as possible. All of my work reflects deep, inner meaning and each brushstroke says something to the eye. They are not just paintings, but a separate story told in each one.
I love to explore all possible and impossible color combinations, not ordinarily used in other art creations. I blend different shades and color tones to add an eclectic nature and subtle nuances to my paintings. This also adds a different depth and perspective for the admirer.
The pieces vary in size from 16x20” to large, ranging from 3x3 ft. - 5x4. This size and presence create a dramatic effect on any room. Adding more than one piece gives the room an identity that is felt every time it is walked into. I have just recently added a number of smaller works for those who don’t have the space.

Prices are based on pickup in Mission Viejo, California. Shipping and Packing charges are the exact price charged to me by the UPS store here in town. I accept Paypal, Cash and Personal checks after they clear.
