Climate Change-A Guide to Separate The Science from Politics

Welcome to the Wild Wild Climate page. This site is designed for students, teachers, and anyone else who is confused about climate change. If you detect a sense of urgency here, there is good reason. The overwhelming Scientific opinion on our climate, is that time is rapidly running out. Severe cuts will have to be made in Carbon emissions, or we risk severe disruption to our planet’s climate.

There is a tremendous amount of opinion masking itself as science on the internet. This makes it almost impossible for someone who is not in the science field to know what is really science and what is not.

The material here is based on peer reviewed Science.

While climate change is perhaps the greatest threat facing our planet, it is also very fascinating science. Leave your political opinions at the door, then, and do not look for political solutions on this site.

What we DO about climate change is for the politicians. We will stick with the SCIENCE here!

I also write about Weather and Science on my Wild Wild Weather Journal. Questions are welcome and if I can’t answer them, I likely will know someone who does know the answer! You can reach me at dan@wildwildclimate.com

If you are looking for reliable information on Climate in a hurry. Check out the online RESOURCES page. The Books section has what I think are the best books on Climate for non scientists. A new page on Climate blogs is now updated daily!

This site is dedicated to the wonderful people who live at the top of the world. They are already dealing with the impacts of Climate Change.

Welcome!!

No junk science here! This site follows peer reviewed science. Why?

Because this site is about Science. Not politics!

These pages are designed as a learning resource. There is no starting place per say. Explore the topics that interest you. I have added a link to a great new pub. by the UK Met Office. It is on the Resources page.
