Daniel Roettger
Hi there,
To be frank, this is a portfolio of my achievements, both forced and freelance. As mentioned throughout the site, the works henceforth are not intended to purely woo and impress, but are intended to show development and learning, both in academia and athletics.
Learning, at least to me, is an endless pursuit. To want to learn is special, I am told; I think the the path is fun. It’s one of those instances when your parents pull out the dreaded cliche: “the trip is more fun than the destination.” I must admit: I agree. On the tennis court, it’s more fun to prepare for the shot: you get to plan its location, speed, spin, net clearance, and so forth (you also never hit the ball out during the preparation). Your preparation is always more important than the destination, the striking of the ball away from the opponent: it dictates the success of the shot and ultimately the point. In the classroom, your preparation has the same level of intensity, only this time your opponent is a red pen.
Well, proceed onward, if you wish. A summary of my life lies on this site, everything I’m prepared to tell you. Please enjoy.
Best,
Daniel Roettger
Welcome.
