Valerie Hurt is originally from Cocoa Beach, FL.  She has studied acting and improv at many schools including University of Florida, Howard Fine, and the Groundlings.   Valerie can also be seen on her critically acclaimed web series THE BETH AND VAL SHOW, as well as many fine commercials.  In addition to her artistic contributions, Val is also known for her philanthropic works, frequently "leaving a penny"  in the "take a penny leave a penny tray."  She hopes to one day eliminate the penny.
