For more than 75 years, St. Johns has been a spiritual pillar in the South Florida community. A part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, St. Johns offers a warm, welcome place for everyone, whether you’re looking to rekindle your spiritual life or you just need a good cup of coffee. Please join us every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. for services and stick around afterwards for coffee, doughnuts and a chance to meet new friends. You’ll find us at 2919 Van Buren Street in Hollywood, Florida. Right where I-95 exits onto Hollywood Boulevard. Hello, I’m Terry M Danger, pastor of St. Johns Lutheran. I’ve been here at St. Johns since mid 1988. St. Johns has been in Hollywood since 1926. While we are not a large church, we are blessed with great people. We are the size where we know how you like your coffee, if you’re happy or sad, and if your kids, young or old, are driving you crazy. While St. Johns is Lutheran, our people come from all sorts of different backgrounds; Roman Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Anglican and everyone is welcome. Because we are Lutheran, there is of course coffee before and after each service. That time, both before and after worship is an excellent opportunity to get to know others and just to have a great time. We also have a regular schedule of dinners during the year. Please feel free to join us for food, both for your body and for your soul. Bring your self, your kids if you have any, even your relatives, if you can tolerate them.
