YWAM Perth Crossroads Outreach to Thailand May 2007

Our team had three weeks in Chiang Mai. We served at the Home of Joy. We did quite a bit of child care, yard work and repairs at the Home of Joy, where a lady named Kathleen is a foster parent to seven boys and one girl ages 3 to 5. One week Cindy and Dana had evening duty where we helped all the children with brushing their teeth, showering, getting into their pajamas, reading stories and praying. Dana helped prepare meals for the children. Cindy organized Kathleen's office and bought some organizers. Tim and Dana got the lawn mower running and Moo, and Andrew rebuilt the upstairs patio railing.
