Pacific Tsunami news

I missed this whilst travelling in Italy- a tsunami hit the Solomons on sunday at 20:40 GMT and a large number of people have lost their lives. Thankfully, aid is starting to reach the afflicted areas. You can read more on the bbc.

Hopefully lessons have been learned in the aftermath of the December 04 tsunami and the immediate, and longer term, support needed will be there for people who are suffering.
