If anything, Tokelau has a stronger history of environmental stewardship, but whilst there isn’t the scale or intensity of ecological problems in Tokelau, neither is there the scale or intensity of ecological awareness and care (I’d love to be proved wrong, add a comment below if you know of something positive happening in Tokelau). Now is such a good time to take action and avoid the problems that French Polynesia and Hawai’i are struggling with.
