My first visit to Dallywater's will definitely NOT be my last. My aunt and I decided afternoon tea would be the perfect way to spend a Saturday and our experience at Dallywater's made our Saturday together perfect. Dallywater's has a very wide variety of teas -- we tried the Dallywater House Blend Supreme and the Lemon Rooibus -- these did not disappoint. The traditional afternoon tea menu was superb and our window table in the tasting room gave us the perfect chance to have great conversation while enjoying a nice view of Naples's Main Street. The service was excellent and our hostess was ready, willing, and able to quickly answer any questions we had about the tea offerings, the menu, and the items for sale. We definitely will be repeat customers and we will absolutely be bringing more friends with us on our next visit!

Thank you for such a delightful afternoon tea. We were so pleased with our adventure today. Every bite melted in our mouths...the choice of teas pleased all of us...the teapots and the art were wonderful...your talk was very informative...and you and your staff were so gracious. Thank you for a pleasant afternoon. I'm sure we'll come again and we will be raving about it to everyone!

This combination of a tea room and art gallery is located in a classic home setting in beautiful Naples, NY. Dallywater's provides a great selection of food and tea in a beautiful setting that manages to be both elegant and relaxed.

What a welcome surprise to find a true English-style tearoom as we strolled around Naples, in upstate New York! Naples gets lots of visitors in different seasons for different reasons: summer boating, winery tours, autumn foliage, winter skiing. Now Dallywater's gives another good reason to make a trip to Naples. The tea, scones (with clotted cream and excellent strawberry jam), and shortbread were first-rate! A very civilized spot! (I recommend the Russian Caravan tea--deep smoky flavor.)

Having just returned from the UK, Dallywater's is an authentic bit of the UK in the Southern Tier of NY. Everything is fresh and delicious - we would rate it A+++ !

What an amazing 'afternoon tea' experience! I came away with a much better appreciation and understanding of the English culture and of the tradition of the afternoon tea. I learned a lot about tea itself as well as the history and tradition of the 'tea'. The culinary delights offered were beautifully presented and explained. I enjoyed each one. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a wonderful mixture of English culture and cuisine!

The proprietor took the time to explain each choice of tea and to allow us to savor the aroma. The tea sandwiches, scones and desserts were phenomenal and the presentation and atmosphere was esthetically appealing. I especially enjoyed the heart shaped custard cream scone...yummy. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!

I visited Dallywaters on Valentine's Day. What a wonderful experience! There were six of us at our table and the restaurant was very busy. One would never have known this. The owner, Janice, introduced each tea with an explanation and s 'sniff' test. she explained the sandwiches and pastries and spent time answering questions. The teas were wonderful, as was the food. Being British I am quite fussy about my 'cuppa' and like my tea strong. Janice asked me if I like it strong and I was not disappointed. I intend to visit again and urge you to do the same.

The destination was Naples and Dallywater's for tea. Everything about the experience was lovely, from the scenic drive to the ambience of the Tea Room. The hostess was charming and took very good care of us throughout our visit. We enjoyed chatting with her and hearing the story of Dallywater's. Her talents in menu planning and tea selections were obvious. I especially enjoyed the scones and sweets. Complimenting the setting were many framed pieces of art and a selection of tea-themed gifts for sale. I would highly recommend a visit to Naples and Dallywater's.

My best friend and I travel from different parts of the state to discover tea rooms. Dallywater's was a two-hour drive for me one way, and worth every minute. We savored our sandwiches and cakes for three hours. Food IS the most important part of tea and one can tell everything is made from scratch when the door opens. Delightful! I think there were 17 kinds of loose tea to choose from. The restaurant is fairly new, sparkling clean and well-lighted. From ceiling to floor the owners have paid attention to every renovating detail. We were charmed by the authentic English-style tea. And Janice herself!

The experience was really very good - A Perfect 10. I will tell all my friends just how wonderful Dallywater's is.

The proprietor prepared a 6 course vegetarian feast for us, with each course matched to a different tea. The food and the tea were excellent. I enjoyed the brief history of each tea presented to us. Clearly Dallywater's is run with enthusiasm and a great deal of love. You won't be disappointed.

My husband and I found this tearoom on vacation and loved it so much we went back a second day. The first day, we had scones and clotted cream/jam and a really good vanilla tea. We were given samples of the loose-leaf tea to sniff before giving our order. That was great because it helped narrow down our choices. We had gotten there a half hour before closing but were never made to feel rushed. It was a true restorative tea break experience.
We went back the second day to take more time and have lunch. We had sandwiches and little desserts (and more fabulous clotted cream) and tried a different tea. Everything was very good! I loved the house that it is in and being able to look at artwork on the walls. It has a nice, big porch were you can eat as well. I wish I lived closer; I would bring my friends for a ladies day out.

Had lunch with two friends this afternoon and the food, atmosphere, warmth and personal touch is outstanding. To add to the ambience, the artwork is outstanding. This is a wonderful addition to the Fingerlakes region. Carry on Dallywater and Harwood, may your tearoom flourish.

A charming and beautifully restored house with a lovely front porch on the Main St. of a very pretty small town in the Finger Lakes. It's decorated with taste and restraint and with a fascinating collection of imaginative tea pots. The owner and hostess is fun to talk with and the whole experience is terrific.

My friend and I visited Dallywater's Tea Room on a Thursday at the noon hour and had a very enjoyable lunch: our food was delicious, wonderful presentation of our food and tea, our hostess was very knowledgeable about the different tea selections and though we were there almost 2 hours, we never felt rushed to finish our meal. We chose the full lunch: sandwiches, scones with homemade strawberry jam and clotted cream, meringues and layered tea cake. My friend and I chose different teas and sandwiches so we could sample each other's selection - we enjoyed them all. The service was wonderful and our tea pots were always kept filled with hot water. The tearoom is in a lovely old home in Naples that retains its old charm and character. The room we were seated in had an upper railing that displayed a wonderful collection of whimsical English tea pots. If it is a nice day the Tearoom has a large front porch with tables as well as a few couches where you can enjoy your food and tea. We had a most enjoyable meal and look forward to our next visit. Thank you.

Today (a gift from my husband) I was treated to a tea party to celebrate my birthday with seven of my dearest lady friends at this lovely, elegant tea room. We had a six course spectacular lunch with each course beautifully presented and complimented by the perfectly prepared premium tea. Janice, our hostess and the artist behind the menu selection and creation is the true heart of Dallywater's. She treated everyone as the guest of honor, fully explained the origin and ingredients of each course, and then described and explained the choice of tea. She made this one of the nicest birthdays I have ever had and I would recommend her, her very wonderful tea selection, her delicious pastries and any lunch she serves to everyone. You will be so delighted you came and you will look forward to visiting again. Five Star Experience!!!
Here is my menu: Chilled Mulligatawny Soup with Russian Caravan Tea; Poached Pear, Stilton & Walnut Salad with Vanilla Mystique Tea; Croustades with Georgian Imperial Tea; Savory Cheesecake with Whispering Heavens Tea; Saffron Cous Cous Crusted Salmon with Darceylon Tea and Easton Mess with Berry Fruit Coctail Tea. Words cannot describe how delicious all of this was. Thank you, Janice.

It is hard to describe this real British Dallywater’s experience to someone who hasn't been there. You walk in to this beautifully-restored Queen Anne structure that is filled with art treasures made by the proprietress' husband. You are seated in one of the beautiful, sunny, and airy rooms. You begin with a loose tea 'sniff-a-thon,' sort of like a wine tasting. From there you select the kind of tea you wish. If each one at your table selects a different tea, you can all share and taste one another's. Appropriate cups and china are provided. The food and pastries are fresher than fresh. There is a great variety, too. The melt-in-your mouth scones are served with jam and clotted cream that was brought in from the UK by refrigerated ship. Teas and pastries can be purchased 'to go.' I bought 2 different bags of loose tea totally new to me. The teas come from a seller in London. Janice, who runs the place, could not be warmer or more caring; every detail is taken care of.

Three friends and I held a birthday celebration at Dallywater's last Saturday. The High Tea was a truly memorable event! The teas and the food were delicious (oh, those scones!) and the service was totally charming. Dallywater's is an oasis of elegance in an otherwise bustling world.
