OLDER ADULTS - STAYING HEALTHY
As we grow older our muscles deteriorate, our joints become stiff and sore, and we lose both flexibility and strength. Regular exercise counter acts these tendencies and enables us to remain active very late into life. It is not uncommon for a much older person to be healthier and more active than those much younger than himself simply because he engages in regular physical activity.
Exercise can help to control high blood pressure and other problems of the heart, strength and the bones and muscles of the body, increase comfort and flexibility of movement, and generally improve one's a general well-being.
