September brought some big changes for the East Bay Knitters.  Skein Lane closed down and although some of us took advantage of the “big” yarn sale, for most of us it meant the end of our evening knits in that wonderful space.  But as luck would have it, Sarah, the owner of Village Grounds on Shattuck Avenue in Berkeley invited us to knit in her lovely coffee shop.  Sarah is also a knitter and although she’s always too busy to knit with us, she has been very welcoming to the group.
