Itinerary

Friday the 26th

5:30pm. Meet at El Sombrero for Dinner.

~ 7:30pm.           After dinner: Mandatory Advance Driving class at the Best Western

across the street from El Sombrero. (Should last about an hour.)

Saturday the 27th

7:00am Instructors set up Advance Driving course at Walla Walla Community

College.

(WWCC is to the right of the Colonial Motel on the provided map.)

9:00amCar registration and inspection followed by driving.

Lunch On your own.

TBAAutocross (After lunch)

TBAAfter everyone is tired of driving or 3:30-4:00pm, whichever comes

first, end driving event. Clean-up event site.

5:30-8:00pm    Meet at Kirkman House Museum to set up for car show (park on the

street) and enjoy dinner.  Driving event prizes awarded at dinner.

Sunday the 28th

7:30amMeet at Wal-Mart parking lot, just south of town, for trip to the

Longbranch Saloon in Weston, OR for breakfast.

TBAAfter breakfast proceed to Mission, OR for a tour of the Tamastslikt

Cultural Institute adjacent to Wildhorse Resort & Casino.

Helmets  (M or SA rating are OK) will be needed at the driving events.  However, if you have one, or can borrow one, please bring it.  If you don’t have one there will be a few loaners available. Be prepared for HOT daytime temperatures and wonderful warm evenings.  The only clothing restrictions for drivers in driving events are no open toe shoes (sandals, flip-flops, etc.) for safety reasons. You may also want to bring a folding camp chair to rest in during the driving events.  Water will be provided during driving events. If you wish to wash your car at any time you may do it at the Colonial Motel.

Directions to Lodging from SR12:

Colonial Motel: Take the Wilbur St. exit then left at the first light (Isaacs Ave.) The motel will be on your left just past K-Mart. If you need to wash your car you can do it here.

Best Western: Take the Second Ave. exit and it will be on your left just past the first light. You will pass El Sombrero on your right.
