The Mozartians, some of Boston’s most exciting singers, present a family-oriented production of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s most concise, charming and comical operas, Bastien and Bastienne and The Impresario, at The Center for Arts in Natick (TCAN) on October 7, 2007 at 7pm. Sue Ellen Kuzma directs a cast of six, plus a flock of “sheep” (played by area homeschoolers) in this staged production, performed in English, with music direction by Bradford Conner and piano accompaniment by Thomas Stumpf.

The Center for Arts in Natick (TCAN) is located at 14 Summer Street in Natick, Massachusetts in the recently renovated Summer Street Firehouse building. Convenient free parking is available evenings and weekends at the Public Parking lot across the street from TCAN, with limited parking available along Summer Street.

The Mozartians is a group created in 2006 of some of New England’s best professional singers and instrumentalists. Their goal is to perform chamber music and stage pieces by composers from Mozart and Haydn to contemporary composers, striving always for accessibility to a wide range of audiences (including families and special needs) and appealing to both connoisseurs and novices.
