Come. Sit. Stay.

Our den is your safe haven. A place where you can learn about toy poodles without the hard sell. That’s because we don’t breed puppies and we don’t recommend specific toy poodle breeders.

We give you the toy poodle knowledge you need to make good decisions for your family and a prospective pet.

Why “Cape Rose”?

When we bred toy poodles, we wanted to create a name that reflected our affection for Cape Cod and our love for our big dog Rose. Hence, the name Cape Rose. Our black Lab Rose has since gone to Rainbow Bridge, never to be forgotten. And our love for Cape Cod continues unabated.

As we know, in the end President Obama chose a purebred Portuguese water dog named Bo for his family.

Just as there are no perfect people, there is no such thing as a perfect dog, even a pedigreed one. If you decide to purchase or adopt a purebred toy poodle, you want to be aware of potential inherited defects.
