If you haven’t checked out our very awesome music video for “Secret”, directed by Axel Gimenez, then go to youtube and check it out in HIGH DEFINITION.  Our next music video, which is for “Downfall of the Enemy”, is being edited as I type these computer keys. 

Tbilisi, Georgia, HERE WE COME!  We’ve been honored with an invite to play at the first annual TBILISI OPEN AIR ALTER/VISION MUSIC FESTIVAL, from May 15th till the 17th.  For more info, checkout www.tbilisiopenair.com.  The estimated crowd will be over 63,000 over the weekend, where we’ll be performing 8 of our tunes, along with a yummy cover.  We’re looking forward to meeting EVERYONE!

Cynic Guru

hey everybody...we’re the icelandic kick-ass, mega superstar band CYNIC GURU.  yes, we kick major, mega ass (see photo above). 

we’ve released a few songs that people really like.  kids walk up to us on the streets of reykjavik, and ask us for our autographs.  often, we oblige.  but sometimes, we do not...because that’s just how we roll. 

anyway, our debut uk cd is going to be released by our awesome record company, fat northerner records, in 08’.  shortly after the release, we’re going to go on a uk tour and kick major mega british ass while we’re there.  they’ve already released our single, “DRUGS”, and many (many) important people have said really great things about it.  so, you know it’s good. 

alright, before you continue onwards with your cynic guru webspace experience, a few bits of cynic guru trivia anyone? 

1. a.roland is half japanese
   

2. b.ricky collects old books and vintage sports cars
   

3. c.einar is left handed and doesn’t read music (like jimi hendrix and paul mccartney...so you can drop the “attitude”)
   

4. d.holm is not oli’s last name
   

5. e.roland and ricky are members of the iceland symphony orchestra
   

6. f.einar and oli are already world famous in iceland (a scientific fact)
