The exhibition this year for the first time, will take place in three wonderful venues ideal for vacationers wishing to explore the coastlines and marine heritage of New England:
First at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod, in South Yarmouth, MA. The former headquarters of the Bass River Savings Bank is a historic brick structure built in the 1930s. The interior features exquisite woodwork and trim detail, a beautiful main lobby area with 23-foot-high ceilings and private meeting rooms and offices. The vault itself has been transformed in a unique exhibit area.
The second port o’call will be at the Herreshoff Marine Museum & The America’s Cup Hall of Fame, bordering beautiful Narragansett Bay in Bristol RI, is arguably Rhode Island's most important maritime historic site. From 1863 to 1945, the Herreshoff Manufacturing Company, on the site of the present day Museum, produced the world's finest yachts on the cutting edge of design and engineering. The America's Cup Hall of Fame, is a permanent center for honoring those individuals most important to the 150 year record of competition for the oldest and most distinguished of all international sporting trophies is located at the museum as well.
The third stop will be at the Maine Maritime Museum, in Bath, Maine, Bath, the City of Ships, is situated ten-miles up the Kennebec River (in Abenaki means "long level water") from the Gulf of Maine. Bath and the surrounding area as been the home to shipbuilding since pre-colonial days. Every community along Maine's southern coast has its own tradition of shipbuilding and fishing; however, the best can be realized at Bath.  400-years of ship building heritage is located here, the first ocean going vessel the pinnace Virginia was built by English shipwrights in 1607 to return to England. Of the many shipyards, over 200, the Percy & Small Shipyard was the last surviving one to build large wooden sailing vessels.  With the acquisition of the Percy & Small Shipyard acreage and its buildings on the south side of the City in 1971, the Maine Maritime Museum has preserved the State's shipbuilding heritage exactly as it was for hundreds of years.

The magical ability of the artist to capture that one moment in time and to share it with us, whether by pen, oils or watercolor is timeless and precious.

Those moments capturing the sea, the people and boats & vessels that ply its waters… be it calm or in nature’s fury. Are all captured here for one to see and most of all appreciate the artist’s vision.
