A Rhapsody of sound
It was composer Fernando Sor, who started a new era of interpretation on our instrument.  Due to the endless possibilities of timbral textures, the guitar of today is considered a miniature orchestra.

As both, a performer and an instructor, I aim at exploring all the possible avenues of phrasing and colors available.  The result of such explorations have gratifying results in terms of performance and recognition from the public.

There are several factors involved in performance.  In essence, a great concert is the result of a successful marriage between the instrument, the composer, the program and lastly the performer.

Much care should be given to the preparation of a concert program.  My performances have always one main goal: The Listener.  I devote endless hours of practice trying to find different ways to connect to my audience.  My allies are the composers who have dedicated their lives to the subtle art of crafting the best possible combinations of sound they can achieve, as well as my faithful and loyal instrument who is a partner in the musical journey.
