Waiting for the Laugh Track
As Shakespeare wrote: All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players. But it seems to me that even this world in which we are players is a bit altered.
I’ve noticed that life strongly resembles a television show. Some people seem to interact with others in a way that suggests they travel with their own studio audience. They throw lines out, and wait for the laugh track for approval.

The Winning Number
Ladies and gentlemen, I proudly boast that I have reached the ripe old age of 34. I can't tell you how relieved I am, actually. There's something oddly liberating about being 34. I used to think that my "age of sensibility" was 30. You know, going through the tests: Should I get that tattoo? Is that something I'd want when I'm 30, I used to ask myself.

Getting Nailed
So this was the hideous sight that were my toenails right after the Reggae Half Marathon. Now, my two big-toe nails are gone--completely MIA--and the left fourth-toe nail up and walked away. At least I have no pain. No pedicures for a while, but no pain.

Big Changes for 2007?
It’s tradition to list the various areas one resolves to change in the coming year. I did that. I made a list and checked it twice, maybe thrice, to the mocking of my friends. I asked them to review them, edit them and remind me of them throughout the year.
Here’s a list of what I have committed to ink:
Finances:
*Pay off credit cards
*Budget better: Use my various accounts in a consistent structured manner
*Save more religiously: Keep at least $1,000 in the account per month
