When Charlene was a child “Tia” Margaret would ask, “Are you hungry?”  If she was hungry, Tia Margaret would respond, “You know where the food is, help yourself.  If you do not find what you want let me know.” 

The only thing Tia Margaret expected was that we had respect for each other and that we cleaned up after ourselves so that the next person had a fresh start.
