Greg Hodges Memorial Park

The park will sit on 1/3 acre lot in the heart of the Casablanca 2 Subdivision in Gulf Breeze Proper.  This area is populated by small homes and lots of young children. The lot is triangular and at the very tip there will be a small garden of knock out roses and white Crepe Myrtles.  As well as a large boulder in the center with plaque honoring Greg and bearing the message, "Oh very young what will you leave us this time".  This will be bordered by a sidewalk with benches that look on to a large play structure for 12 and under and disabled children. Beyond the play structure are two gazebos, one with a bench and a larger one with a picnic table. There will be a large grassy area as requested by neighbors but to keep it interesting we are installing a Frisbee Golf goal for fun. The architect is Glynn Brown of Gulf Breeze.

The trust is being completed this week so we can take donations exclusively for the next couple of months. Construction on the park is suppose to begin in January with the installation of irrigation, lighting and fencing. Until the trust is complete, donations can be made to Tammy Hodges as trustee:
