Who can participate in WorkSafe?
Companies that have between 10 and 300 employees and are in the Manufacturing and Nursing Home (including Assisted Living Centers, Home Care, Hospice and Foster Care) fields.
What is WorkSafe?
WorkSafe, the exciting back safety and ergonomic training program, is available FREE to Michigan companies. WorkSafe focuses on the personal responsibility employees must take to ensure their own back safety in the workplace and at home. The Michigan Association of Chiropractors (MAC) and the State of Michigan fund the program.
What does WorkSafe entail?
Our trained doctors conduct one-hour presentations on proper ways to lift, bend and move. Before each program, doctors conduct an evaluative walk-through of the work site to customize the presentation. The doctor will show a short video to the employees and review a 12-page handbook during a group discussion. Together, the WorkSafe doctor and the employees will discuss practical solutions that are unique to the employees’ workplace.
