Mark Dalton - Electric Bass
Mark Dalton - Electric Bass
Mark Dalton is the bass player for Chris Stevens’ Surf Monkeys. Mark began his performing and recording career in the midwest at age 15, and by 1969 had played on a Billboard number one hit and the followup album “2525” by Zager and Evans. Mark spent a lot of time in Chicago during this period, and carried the blues message across the flatlands with the Liberation Blues Band and Blackjack before coming to the Northwest in the 1970s, where he promptly hooked up with the notable Irish-American Blues Shouter, Tom McFarland. Mark has had a steady career in the blues ever since, performing and recording with Isaac Scott, Brian Butler, Twist Turner, the Slamhound Hunters, Pat “Guitar Slim” Chase, Dave Conant, and the Crossroads Band, joining up with Chris Stevens in 2001. Mark lays down a solid bass line that anchors the Surf Monkeys and other local combos and keeps audiences in the groove!
