    Last Christmas season I was fly fishing with my son Barry on the Rio Penasco.  A small spring creek in New Mexico about a three hours North of El Paso.  This year he is in Korea.... his younger brother Bryan is still in Iraq.... Grains of Hope, Remembered Things

As the end of my first month here creeps up on me, I've found myself pondering how fast time can go.  There is no stopping it, no containing it, and no hindering

  

   This is a letter I just received from my son Bryan who is  in Iraq,    please read it.... the second half is a flyfishing story .... amazing .... he can think so beautiful a thought in such a desperate place......
