Glenn Sparkman, Tom Thompson and I took a road trip to the Smokey Mountains in July 2006.  We ran 1492 miles in 5 days - ranging from Birmingham Alabama to Abbingdon Virginia.

The Blue Ridge Parkway in the Smokey Mountains is a beautiful place.  Just off the Parkway are many roads lesser known. 

In this video, shot with a buddy’s helmet camera, we explore some of these lesser known roads.  Enjoy.
