Saturday October 20, 2007 the Varsity Katy Taylor Mustangs took on the Alief Hastings Bears in a football contest at Crump field.

The Mustangs fell short in overtime by a field goal against the Bears with a final score of 24-21.  The good news is the offense showed up with balanced passing and rushing - setting up a good homecoming game next week for Morton Ranch.
