“Monica” The Singer/Mother Monica Guy hails from Atlanta, where she earned her BA in English at Spelman College, and honed her skills as a dancer. In her hometown, she began her career as a news reporter and host at several local television and radio stations. She has danced with several professional companies, including Zaachto-SF in California, and the Atlanta Jazz & Tap Company, and now owns Miss Monica’s School of Dance. She is Artistic Director for the performing company, Miss Monica’s Dance Ensemble. Monica has sailed the seas singing & dancing on Royal Caribbean Cruises. After settling in Los Angeles, she landed several television and movie roles, including Melrose Place, A Different World, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, and the feature film Rent. Her choreography is featured in Wil Smith’s movie, Wild Wild West. Monica has garnered fantastic notice as a jazz singer in several groups, including one with Crissy, Satin Dolls, at the Gardenia cabaret in Hollywood. MOnica Guy My Stats  Female Never ask a lady.
