We will generally not talk nor show action during breaks in the action, but will send the “broadcast” to “commercial.” We will interview a single guest before and after the game from your team. If the broadcast is aimed at a specific player(s)/coach for a birthday or holiday gift or something similar, we can be sure to get that person on the show either once, or both times! We will give you the finished product, unedited at the conclusion of the game, but will take it back to the studio and make sure it gets any “polishing” it might need if you want to wait a short time. What we expect from you • Selection of announcer, and payment in full no later than two weeks prior to the event. • Time to talk with the announcer about your team and league in a phone conversation of at least 15 minutes. We will need full rosters, including names, height, weight, age, and other biographical data at least one week prior to the event. • We will be sending out a questionnaire for every player on your team to fill out and be sent back to us via fax or email at least one week prior to the game. We’d love to know the history of each player, and of your team and league. The more information we get, the better we can make this sound! • On the day of the game, we’ll need to know how to get where we are going, updated statistical information on your team and the other team if possible. We’ll need standings that are up to date. We will bring a table and chair with us, plus our broadcast equipment and power cords, but will need access to a power outlet. Of course, we will need a good spot in which to view the game with an unblocked view. • We will feature a banner with our web site and brochures will be available so game attendees know who we are and what we are doing. What happens if the game is not played? If your game is cancelled for any reason, we’ll need to know about it at the earliest convenient time. As a long time coach, I know that sometimes this means at game time. If cancellation is within two hours of game time, and the game is never replayed, we will refund all of your monies paid, minus a $50 preparation fee for our announcer. If the game is rescheduled, we will make every effort to have our announcer be there for the makeup game, or another of your choosing. If the announcer you choose becomes unavailable, we will ask if another announcer is acceptable to you at the same rate. If the game is never made up, or we can’t call another scheduled game for you, or your choice of announcers becomes unacceptable, we can give you a full refund of your money paid at the conclusion of your season and playoff season.
