Introduction to the TelePrompter
Sundays - TBA, 2009
Taught by Joe Loesch and Alan Dysert
Our TelePrompter class is for those actors pursuing work in television, commercials, industrial and training videos and TV hosting. This two session class examines basic uses of the TelePrompter and appropriate performance techniques. A mainstay of the industrial video market, the TelePrompter can be a wonderful aid to your performance. You’ll receive a practical understanding of the TelePrompter. Students will actually work with a TelePrompter in this 2 session class. In any market, actors are expected to have TelePrompter experience. This class will challenge and teach all levels of talent.
Location: The Actor’s School Studio in Franklin, TN

Fundamentals of Video Editing
Love movies, music videos and the Web? If so, discover the world of video editing. Learn the fundamentals of editing, graphic design, animation, and lighting and then apply this knowledge to your the hands-on course. Wel work with programs such as FinalCut Pro, PhotoShop, LiveType and ProTools. Shoot and upload video to FinalCut. Study Ken Burns effects and do an in-class project.
Basic skills include the use of computers to create special effects seen in movies, music videos and television programs. Create a storyboard for a television commercial.
