Why is our home considered green?
Besides the fact that our metal roof is forest green and the pre-cycled shakes adorning our addition are a stylish light olive hue, there are several more reasons why our home and landscape is considered “green”. This website contains a brief history of our home building adventure highlighting just a few of the many sustainable practices that have saved us several thousands of dollars while keeping usable materials out of local landfills.
We were fortunate enough to be included in this year’s Sustainable Connections “Imagine This” Home and Landscape tour and forged several business partnerships and garnered media coverage to promote sustainable building practices.
