Core Values define what is important in our life together as the body of Christ, CrossRoads Church.

CHRIST - The unconditional love of God is known fully through a relationship with Jesus Christ. All people matter to God, especially the searching and lost. Salvation and forgiveness is a gift of God given through baptism and celebrated in the Lord’s Supper.   (John 3:16,17 Luke 4:18-21, Luke 15,  *BO 5.0102a)

RELATIONSHIPS – God created us to be in relationship with one another.  Life change happens best in small groups of people by connecting with others in significant Christian relationships focussed around the life of Jesus Christ. (Acts 2:46, Matthew 4:18-22, BO 5.0102 h)

OFFERING - We give ourselves and our resources back to God for God’s use.  The Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to all believers for the work of Jesus Christ in the world. People discover and use their God-given spiritual gifts for ministry.  Honoring God and personal growth in Christ involves supporting the church with one's material resources using the biblical precedent of the tithe as a goal to reach and exceed.  (Romans 12:6-8, Philippians 4:11-19, BO 5.0102 d , BO 5.0102 d)

ADORATION - God desires that all people come into His presence with joy and thanksgiving. Worship is celebrative, interconnects with everyday life, transforms lives, and includes teaching the scriptures of the Old and New Testament. (Psalm 100, John 4:22-24, BO 5.0102 b)

DISCIPLESHIP – Growing people into believers, disciples, and ministers of Jesus Christ is God's desire. Evidence of changing lives, honest accountability, and the pursuit of Christlikeness is normal and expected for all believers.  (2 Peter 3:18, BO 5.0102c, e, f)

SERVING - God does not rest until all people have a relationship with God.  We believe that a life will reach a life and that God’s Kingdom is built one life at a time.  Followers of Jesus Christ intentionally and regularly develop genuine relationships with friends and reach out to unbelievers and spiritual seekers.  Believers serve in mission and plant new churches so that God’s Kingdom will grow in people’s heart’s and in the world.  (Matthew 28:16-20, BO 5.0102 g, i)
