Serving the community in which we live is a high priority for us. Seeking to “Love our neighbor” CrossRoads regularly serves people in the following ways:
MISSION INDY - One way we serve our community is by serving the needy once a month in downtown Indianapolis. This is part of our SERVE ONCE A MONTH Focus on Four emphasis. We normally work for about 4 1/2 hours together.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD - This ministry of Samaritan’s Purse of the Franklin Graham Association provides filled shoe-boxes to children around the world at Christmas time. For the past 8 years we have served as the regional coordinating, collection, and relay station for Hamilton County. In 2005 over 1000 shoe-boxes were collected in Westfield alone.

WESTFIELD OPEN DOORS - Open Doors is a Westfield cooperative ministry that reaches the needs of the poor and struggling in our area. Volunteers serve in a variety of ways. Tom Goins, a CrossRoads member, serves as President and Jennifer Chobot as Treasurer. CrossRoads regularly sorts food, provides for cleaning supplies and back to school back-packs for families, and helps providing a Thanksgiving meal to over 200 families.
CHRISTMAS CLOTHING GIVE-AWAY – In cooperation with Washington Woods Elementary School staff, CrossRoads helps donating clothing and providing staffing fro the annual Christmas give-away. Over 180 families were helped in 2005.
SOUPERBOWL OF CARING – When most people have parties and consume lots of food for the Superbowl, some do not have anything to eat. Each year we invite people to give a dollar a person to donate to a local food pantry.
